Privacy and cookies
This explains what Elmet Aesthetics Clinic collects when you use this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Elmet Aesthetics Clinic, Fairfield Link, Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire. You can contact us at info@elmetaestheticsclinic.co.uk about anything on this page.
When you book
We ask for your name, email address and mobile number, and anything you choose to put in the notes. We use them to make and manage your appointment, to send you a confirmation and any changes, and to contact you about the appointment.
If you tick the box to be texted, we record that you agreed. We do not send text messages yet; the tick simply means we can ask you again properly if we start.
When you book for a group, you are the contact for everyone. We only hold your details, plus any names you choose to add in the notes.
When you send a message
We keep your name, email, optional phone number and message so we can reply to you.
Who else sees it
Confirmation emails are sent through Mailjet, which processes them on our behalf. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing.
Cookies and similar storage
Always on, because the site needs them
- Sign-in cookie — only used if you are the clinic signing in to manage bookings. Visitors never receive it.
- Your treatment choices and light or dark preference — kept in your browser so that a refresh doesn't empty your selection and the site remembers your theme. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Only if you say yes: Google Analytics
If you accept, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people
use, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies beginning _ga and
shares information such as the pages you visit and your approximate location with
Google. We use it to measure the site, not to identify you, and we never send it
your name, email or phone number.
If you decline, or don't answer, none of this happens: no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
Changing to decline also removes any analytics cookies already set.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you can object to how we use it. Email us at the address above. If you are unhappy with how we've handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
