A full syringe of hyaluronic acid filler gives enough product for lips or for facial contouring, such as cheeks or the jawline. Your nurse will plan the treatment around your features so the result stays balanced and natural-looking.
As with all filler treatments, we start with a consultation where we talk through what you want, what is realistic and what is safe for you. The appointment is booked for 1 hr.
What to expect
- A consultation to plan the treatment, including how much product is sensible.
- Numbing is used where appropriate and you will see the result as we go.
- Some swelling is normal straight afterwards and the final look settles over a couple of weeks.
Aftercare
- Avoid touching or pressing the area, and avoid make-up on it for the rest of the day.
- Skip strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and hot baths for 24 hours.
- Swelling, tenderness or bruising can happen and usually settles within days.
- Contact us promptly if you notice severe pain, colour changes in the skin or anything unusual.

How long does filler last?
Longevity varies with the area treated, the product and your own metabolism. It is not permanent and is gradually absorbed by the body.

Most people find it comfortable, and numbing is used where appropriate. Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising can happen and usually settles within days.
