Express Dermaplaning in Sherburn in Elmet

A quicker dermaplane to lift dead skin and vellus hair.

30 min£18

Express dermaplaning is the quicker version, focused on lifting away dead skin and fine facial hair for a smoother, brighter surface. It is a good fit if you are short on time or want to try dermaplaning before booking a longer facial.

The appointment is booked for 30 min.

What to expect

  • Skin is cleansed, then a sterile blade is gently stroked across the face to remove dead skin and fine hair.
  • It is usually comfortable, and skin feels smooth straight away.

Aftercare

  • Use SPF every day. Freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive to the sun.
  • Avoid other exfoliants, retinoids and acids for a few days.
  • Keep skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser.

This is general guidance. We'll give you advice specific to you at your appointment, and if you are ever worried afterwards, get in touch or seek medical advice. All aftercare advice

Frequently asked questions

What is dermaplaning?

A skin-smoothing treatment where a sterile surgical blade gently removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, leaving skin smooth and bright and helping skincare products absorb.

Does the hair grow back thicker?

No. Vellus hair is not thickened or darkened by dermaplaning; it grows back as the same fine hair.

Does it hurt?

No. Most people describe it as a light, gentle scraping sensation.
