Our ultimate dermaplaning treatment is a full facial built around dermaplaning: a sterile surgical blade is drawn gently across the skin to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, leaving a smooth surface that make-up sits well on and skincare can absorb more easily.
It is booked for 45 min. Despite the blade, it is comfortable, and it does not make hair grow back thicker or darker.
What to expect
- Skin is cleansed, then a sterile blade is gently stroked across the face to remove dead skin and fine hair.
- It is usually comfortable, and skin feels smooth straight away.
Aftercare
- Use SPF every day. Freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive to the sun.
- Avoid other exfoliants, retinoids and acids for a few days.
- Keep skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser.
